Growing up in Kerala, I saw the coconut tree not just as a symbol of our landscape, but as a marvel of nature’s efficiency. However, I also saw the immense waste of coconut shells and the simultaneous destruction of forests for traditional charcoal.
Coconite Platinum was born from a simple question: How can we turn this local agricultural waste into a global gold standard for energy?
We don't take shortcuts. We chose the difficult 3:1 production ratio because our goal isn't just to sell a product; it’s to represent the integrity of Kerala’s resources on the world stage. Our Process
From Shell to Superiority
The 3:1 Selection & Carbonization
We hand-select mature Kerala coconut shells, utilizing a strict 3:1 input-to-output ratio. It takes 3kg of raw shells to produce 1kg of our charcoal. These shells are carbonized in oxygen-starved reactors to achieve a high 88% Fixed Carbon purity, ensuring a 100% smokeless and odorless burn.
High-Density Bio-Engineering
The carbon is pulverized and bonded with 100% food-grade organic binders—never chemicals. Using industrial-strength, high-pressure extrusion, we eliminate all air pockets. This results in a heavy, durable cube that maintains its structural integrity and delivers a steady heat for over 120 minutes.
PLC-Controlled Curing & Certification
Our briquettes are dried in PLC-controlled chambers to reach a moisture level of <5%. This precision ensures quick ignition and our signature "Ultra-Low" silver-white ash. Before export, every batch undergoes a Vanning Survey to certify it meets the highest international safety and quality standards for the international market.
